News : easyAsterisk 2.4.2 Released
Posted by admin on 2009/10/15 14:40:00 (1714 reads)

Free easyAsterisk 2.4.2 ISO image is available for download. Changelog from previous release:

- asterisk 1.4.26.1, libpri 1.4.10.1, dahdi-linux 2.2.0.2, dahdi-tools 2.2.0, asterisk-addons-1.4.9.

- DISA (Direct Inward System Access). You can configure DISA using "Calls Management => DISA" menu. This feature allows someone calling in from outside the telephone switch (PBX) to obtain an "internal" system dialtone and dial calls as if from one of the extensions attached to the telephone switch. The DISA application in turn requires the user to enter his passcode, followed by the pound sign (#). If the passcode is correct, the user will hear dialtone on which a call may be placed. Obviously, this type of access has SERIOUS security implications, and GREAT care must be taken NOT to compromise your security.

DISA configurations parameters:

Name: DISA name.
Description: Description field.
Language: Channel language for audio files playback.
Extension: Local disa Extension. You need to enable each local phone extension to use DISA extension through "PBX Settings => Local Extension" menu, "Local Service Extensions" tab.
Only allowed extensions: If enabled restrict DISA access only to specified extensions.
Allowed Extensions: If "Only allowed extensions" is enabled you can specify here the extensions enabled to access DISA service.
PIN: pin code.
Outgoing CID: Defines whether to use the default channel callerid or a custom callerid for calls made through DISA.
CUstom CID: Enter here the custom callerid if enabled.
Local Service Extensions: Specify the local service extensions that can be dialed using the DISA service.
Outbound Routing: Specifies which outbound routes can be used for outgoing calls through DISA service.

- Fixed queues and ringing groups configuration with FXS analog devices as members

- Generic improvements and bug resolution
